As a new player in the competitive children’s clothing industry, 2Loops struggled with awareness and getting traffic to the new site created with BC’s Launch Online grant. They needed help with marketing and to structure the Shopify site to rank on search.
First, the default Shopify template was difficult to use from a customer’s perspective, which also makes it hard for Google. We made customizations to the Debut theme and redesigned the category pages to improve usability and SEO.
To increase awareness, we designed a newsletter template and provided content suggestions that would interest their target audience, young families in Vancouver. We also identified which local media outlets and blogs would be best for outreach, and provided content briefs for sponsored posts which resulted in an instant and sustained boost in traffic.
