About the Role
We’re seeking a tech savvy marketer who is very organized to join our small and growing team to help serve our clients better and to grow our web properties.

This role reports to the founder and works with our lead web developer. You will start executing a variety of tasks, but can move on to delegating and manage tasks by hiring freelancers for small projects: analytics consultants, copywriters, and tech specialists.

You must live in B.C as this application may be funded through the Digital Skills for Youth Program (DS4Y). See intern eligibility criteria.

Examples of What You’ll Do:
– Organize, update and add to our internal knowledge base with how-to’s and standard operating procedures in Notion.
– Prepare marketing and onboarding docs and reports in Google Docs / Sheets.
– Write and schedule social media posts.
– Write and update case studies in WordPress from content briefs.
– Set up docs and folders to onboard new clients.
– Be the final QA voice on web pages and documents.
– Prepare and proofread contracts, proposals and invoices.
– Spot problems and find ways to optimize processes.
– Work on multiple projects while keeping on top of communication.

Tools We Use
G-Suite, Notion, Figma, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Zoom, WordPress, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Zapier.

Required Skills & Qualifications
– Currently in or recently graduated from a post secondary institution in marketing, communications, IT, computer science, or business (after Dec 2020).
– Savvy with Google’s products (Drive, Workspace).
– Experience adding and content to WordPress.
– An eye for good design, quality writing and user experience.
– Understanding of writing for the web (h tags, meta, social graph).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
– SEO experience, or an interest in learning.

Nice to Haves
– Experience with integrating systems with Zapier or Make.
– Design skills in Figma, Canva and Photoshop.
– Social media management experience and video creation.
